{50 Years}

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to take some pictures for a lovely couple from my church, at their surprise anniversary party celebrating 50 years of marriage.  Needless to say, they were surprised to tears and it was evident to see the love they (still) have for each other and the great impact it has on everyone in their presence.

It’s hard to believe that October is nearly over and I have yet to do any fall decorations, or anything for Halloween-haven't even bought one pumpkin, gasp!  Luckily for me (and any of you who wait until the last minute) I found some adorable and easy DIY projects, that I might (or might not) get around to.

**The highlight this month was definitely celebrating my husband’s 28^th birthday- a surprise party with family and friends and ending the evening with three games of Mafia.  And to close out the month, I’m going on a mini road trip, a ten hour drive, to my cousin’s wedding this weekend.  Should be a fun time!

My friend, Joey, makes some beautiful pieces of beaded jewelry. Necklaces, bracelets, earrings--all are handmade. Contact her if you are interested in owning some of these beauties.
